Review: My Dogs Love It and Their Coats Show It - I’ve been feeding this supplement to my 5-year-old Mastiff mix, Fiona, since she was a puppy after it was recommended by a salesperson at a local pet food store. I sprinkle a teaspoon over her food twice a day. It does have a fishy smell, but my dogs seem to love it because it adds flavor to their kibble/wet food/brown rice combo they eat. I’m glad I listened to that recommendation because Fiona is constantly complimented on her shiny black coat. I’m now giving the same supplement to my Cane Corso puppy, Faith, and her black brindle coat is beautifully shiny as well. Beyond their coats, both of my dogs have been very healthy overall, and I do give some credit to this supplement for supporting their health. One thing to note: the 5 lb container no longer seems to come with the convenient teaspoon scoop, or at least mine didn’t. I was a little disappointed because I would have saved the scoop from the smaller container if I had known. So if you buy a smaller size first, keep the scoop.
Review: SeaMeal is the real deal! - I give my dogs a lot of supplements. You can't really tell if some help or hinder. This is one that seems to be a huge benefit. My Cavalier has a problem where the nerves are failing the back legs. This stuff is very beneficial. I have slowly upped the dosage to double the recommenced amount. The benefits are surprising and she is actually. getting stronger and more energetic. Her rapid decline has regressed and the decline has halted. Sounds awkward but both are important and true. I love my dog and my wife adores her. She is also exceptionally important to our new puppy. The puppy may be infusing a lot of life into th old gal but the Seameal is clearly helping too. I might add that the SeaMeal is a ground up like pepper sized thing. Yu just dump it into th bowl with a little scoop. The dogs lick up evey bit of it. They love it. The jar goes a long way. Is it worth using... I am convinced. I met the old lady, out in El Cajon Calif years ago, who invented this stuff. I think she eats it too. lol

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Gift Of Better Health And Well Being For Your Best Friend
*by P***K on February 23, 2013*

If you're reading this review then chances are like myself your dog or dogs are in every way family and there's nothing you won't do to enhance the quality of both their health and lives. Gee it's nice to be among my own kind! A long time fan of Solid Gold they were the first company to introduce an all natural line of dog food sourced from human grade ingredients. Decades ago I started to research commercial dog foods and the more I learned over the years the more appalled I became. Hence, I now make my own and have been tweaking my recipe for years. However, I still use Solid Gold's "Hund - N- Flocken" as an added extra for crunch to my mix. Their line of foods are excellent and their SeaMeal supplement is no exception. In fact it is in my opinion, hands down the best supplement you can give to your best friend. As any architect will tell you - designing something simple is far more difficult then something complex and this truth is one of the key benefits of SeaMeal. Instead of throwing everything into the mix via shotgun, the choice of ingredients albeit slim compared to other products is quite brilliant in it's simplicity and even more so in it's benefit rich formulation. The first ingredient - seaweed, is really the shining star of the show. A powerhouse of clean protein and essential nutrients seaweed provides the following: *High protein content: from 20% in green algae to 70% in spirulina. *High mineral content, especially: iodine, calcium, iron, magnesium. *More vitamin C than oranges. *Natural iodine maintaining a healthy thyroid function. *Anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory properties *Large proportion of natural, organic iodine aiding in maintaining a healthy thyroid function *One of the richest plant sources of calcium. Other ingredients include: * Flax seed meal - another powerhouse of nutrients. While it's not technically a grain, it has a similar vitamin and mineral profile to grains without the inherent problems. *Dried Lemon - A great source for vitamin C it also creates gastric balance and reduces stomach upset * Aspergillus - Is actually a mold it improves liver function and stabilizes blood sugar. *Polysaccharides: Aids in the prevention of degenerative disease such as cardiovascular and diabetes increase the amount of feel-good chemicals in the brain ( endorphins and Dopamine) Also improves liver function and helps to stabilize blood sugar. SeaMeal is an exquisite formulation and recipe for better health and a stronger more resilient immune system. We have two Old English Bulldogs an 8 year old and a 10 month old puppy since starting them on SeaMeal (they were both on Nupro) a few months ago we've seen some impressive results especially with Harley our oldest. Both their coats are gorgeous, Harley has had Alopecia his entire life which leaves the back of his hind legs practically bald. Over the years we've tried different therapies both prescription medications and homeopathic but to no avail. His bald spots have filled in quite nicely, his energy level has improved significantly as has his Pyoderma (swelling between the toes) Bulldogs are extremely prone to ear infections and these to seem to be significantly reduced in both frequency and severity since using SeaMeal. SeaMeal is without question an excellent supplement that provides significant benefits to your dogs health and well being - I would recommend it to anyone.
