Review: wonderful addition to an older hifi system ! - Save that old setup! I had been on the edge of thinking it was time to say goodbye to my trusty Technics receiver due to a lack of BT connection. We play a lot of records and CD's at our house, and love the sound of our current setup so the idea of losing my existing system, and replacing it with a bluetooth friendly stereo was not the route i wanted to go. But we were really wanting to add the ability to stream audio from our phones and laptops, so something had to change. This thing was a gamechanger. I'm sure super audio nerds will find something to fuss about, but honestly, for under $50, I find no issue. Plugs right into an empty RCA input (TV in my case), and i have it piggybacked off the receiver power supply, so turn the receiver on, and it's on. I'm sure there are "nicer" units out there that do this, but i'd be hard pressed to find one as easy on the wallet that performs as well. Been using it for a few weeks now, and no issue. Have never experienced connectivity issues, range is what it needs to me, i can be anywhere in my house, and signal never drops or crackles. Pairing new devices is simple and straightforward. Just remember to turn off bluetooth on a previously paired phone before pairing a new device, this thing locks on like a beast and as soon as it's on, it will, if possible immediately pair itself with the last device used. Nice for ease of use, a minor annoyance in a 2 phone household where we both like to stream to the stereo sometimes. There is a "3D sound" button, but connected my my setup, which includes Klipsh 5.1 speakers, all the button seems to do is make things louder and bassier, maybe it's more dynamic with a simple 2 speaker setup, don't know, don't care, its unnecessary for my use case, and has no bearing on the primary function which is what I came for. TL:DR. Great little unit, wallet friendly, small form factor, zero connectivity issues, and clear sound, big win for keeping your older hifi kicking.

**Q: Cuts volume by about 40% ? Amazon wont let me review it due to lightning deal.**
A: A couple of things I noticed with my set-up: I am using a Marantz SR4200 (about 20 years old if I had to guess.) At first I got very little volume. Even with the volume knob cranked all the way on the receiver, it was just low. Then I noticed the volume on my iPhone was somehow set very low. This solved my issue...as I raised the volume one click on the iPhone I'd have to turn the knob on the receiver down to compensate (or it would be loud.) One other thing to note is there is a volume setting on the 1Mii device...perhaps not this one, but on the version I have (B06) there are two buttons up top. One has a plus the other has a minus sign. Make sure to hit the plus until it's at max.

**Q: does this one auto shutdown if not used for some hours?**
A: You have to shut it off or it sits there and searches for a Bluetooth signal. It will auto connect with whatever device is available. I leave mine on so I can just auto connect when I walk into the house for music from my phone.

**Q: Does this supply audio output to both outputs (RCA and 3.5mm) simultaneously?**
A: Saw question & got curious so... Plugged a pr of cheap headphones into the 3.5mm jack while simultaneously connected to a stereo & played a song using Pandora. The volume of stereo was immediately cut by around 50% & the sound level in headphones was really low.

A: You can if your computer has bluetooth - just pair your computer to the device and have the device connected to your stereo, assuming that your stereo takes extra inputs such as aux, tuner or CD type inputs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent and simple!

Worked flawlessly out of the box! Very simple setup (I only have one Bluetooth device). If you’re going to connect it to an RCA input on your amp, it does not come with a male to male RCA cord so you will need one. It does come with 3.5 mm to male RCA cable , the power cord and it actually comes with the power to usb device too. One last thing, this is my third Bluetooth device and the first two (not this manufacturer) had background noise and clicking sound that made them unusable. This one does not have hum or clicking and I’m pleased with it for the money (until I can afford a streaming music device). If you’re a high end audiophile, this might not be for you as it’s very simple and easy to use. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a simple Bluetooth connection to get Amazon music into an existing stereo system. I have it connected to a Yamaha A-S301 going to a set of Klipsch Heresy’s (1981 vintage) and it is working perfectly. The power cord is a little short and I had to move a few things around to avoid adding an extension cord, however that’s minor.
