I notice that they get uncomfortable for me at about 3040 miles. However before that they feel very comfortable. Casual rides they will last awhile being comfortable however difficult rides you may notice a slight discomfort after a long while. **Q: I wear men’s size 8 shoes. Should I get the 5-8 or 8-12? (No way to reply to comment so asking again)** A: Get the 8-12 for comfort. The other would be too tight. **Q: will they fit a size 13 foot crew socks** A: These socks are probably long enough to fir a US size 13 . (I wear US size 12 1/2) but they are made for slender feet. If your feet are also wide, they will not fit comfortably. **Q: The size chart doesn't match the choices for size - how do I know what Large means, for example???** A: When i purchase the socks i got the size 13-15..Which i'm a size 12 and the socks fit me just right to my ankles..when ever i buy ankle socks i purchase the size above my size due to i don't want to be running and the socks end up below my ankle.usaully a small is sizes 1 to 3..medium is a size 4 to 6..large is a size 7 to 9.. Extra large is 10 to 12..extra extra large in socks 13 to 15..
