Good material and craftmanship. - The decorative designer one I had to return because the flashy parts were cheaply made and not durable, but it cost more than this one. This one isn't designer, but it delivers in all the ways that count the most. It kept my backpack from getting wet from rain, it fit easily around my backpack, and the elastic was even taut enough that I could have foregone strapping it in place, all of which are good initial signs of a terrific purchase. I contacted joywalker via email. Within an hour or 2 the owner Leo emailed me back and asked to measure my pack and they would find the best size to fit my needs. He kept in contact with me and sent a new one at no charge. It came the next day! Fit perfect. There wasn't even any need to return the one I incorrectly ordered! I tested the waterproof of the material Which held water like a bag. Afterwards i still sprayed it with camp dry. The straps are stitched well to the cover and the clips feel very durable.
