Our Dried #2 Morels are wild harvested, ensuring a pure and natural product free from chemicals and pesticides. These non-GMO mushrooms are perfect for gourmet cooking, offering a unique flavor that enhances any dish while supporting sustainable sourcing.

## Description

These are Grade 2 Morels, they do not look nice at all, and are broken, cut in half or missing the top. They taste the same as the grade 1's. They range in size from very small to medium sizes. Morels, also known as Morchella, sponge mushroom, pinecone mushroom and more are a delicacy with many uses; fried, stuffed and baked, added to sauces, sautéed, stir fried and many other uses. The dried morel reconstitutes very well, coming back to it’s original form very well. It takes 7 pounds of fresh morels to make 1 pound of dried. These morels are wild harvested, no chemicals or pesticides are used. They are NOT genetically modified.To Reconstitute: Soak in a cup of warm water or liquid per ounce of dried morels for 20 minutes or overnight. When they are fully reconstituted, strain through a coffee filter or paper towel and retain the liquid for your recipe or future use. Rinse well to remove any debris and pat dry and use.
