I tried it and really liked it. I originally lived in New York and I had no problem finding beef bacon. When I moved to Florida I couldn’t find it anywhere. When I visited Maryland I would buy it and freeze it and bring it back with me. I found a place on line that carried it but it was too expensive. I found it on Amazon over a year ago and unfortunately I bought it from a vendor who obviously tried to save money on the shipping and placed it in a large brown envelope with some a cooler bag. Of course living in Florida the bacon actually was not only not cold it was warm. I used my infrared thermometer and took a picture and sent it to the company. They didn’t give me a hard time and refunded my money. I looked again a year later and saw the good reviews of how well the bacon was shipped. When I checked, the company originally bought it from was still a vendor but I noticed the good reviews came from purchasers who bought directly from Godshall. This shipment came in the appropriate shipping container and wrapped and packed with 5 ice bricks. The outdoor temperature was in the mid 80’s and the bacon was cold. I normally don’t write such long reviews; however, I didn’t want anyone to make the same mistake I made. As for the bacon, sometimes you do get a pack that has more fat content than others. It just depends.
