They were both the same length. **Q: why are they advertised made in USA and on the bottom it says country of origin china?** A: No sure, but I had read that if products are packaged in the US they could label them as made in the US and have imported parts. Don't know if this is true but I have found other products advertise the same and open the package and find a China sticker on it. **Q: are they made in the USA** A: Yes they are made in the USA.
