I kept seeing these silicone covers, and did not realize ours was an XL. After trying a few other brands, we found that they were too short or not wide enough. This fits the XL perfectly. It does exactly as they advertise by keeping out the dust, dirt and whatever else you were trying to protect your grill from.Product arrived quickly and was definitely worth the money we spent on it. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Especially for the 28 inch XL. I ordered a 3 different ones at first that didn't state they were not for the 28 in XL model. Yes this is a solid 50% more than the others but the rubber is thicker than the 3 I previously purchased. Already only having it on my griddle for 4 days I've noticed mice droppings and insects on the mat.
