Update 6-1: If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. My scissors got stuck in the handle and once I pried them out they had zero tension. Pretty bad since I literally never used them once. I requested a replacement from Amazon so I will update one way or the other, but for now I gotta knock a couple stars off down to 2. Original Review: For the price, this is kind of a modern miracle. I expected a nightmare right out of the box, but as soon as I unfolded it I was pleasantly surprized. The action all feels pretty good, the locks work well and are convenient to use, and most importantly the spring loaded pliers feel awesome. I weed-eated 4 acres today and these worked great to restring, clean heads, etc. No issues. No complaints. I grew up on cheap Lowes brand MTs, and as much as I love my nice high end USA made precision MTS, I have been wanting to find a decent budget beater. Thanks to inflation it seems like ppl see "budget" as under 30 bucks, but I held out to find something usable under 10... this is it 100%. Maybe the materials are not the best quality, maybe the finish is ugly asf, and maybe the pliers will break like some others have shared, but at this price I don't care at all. I'm excited to have found these. I'm buying another.
