## Description

The latest innovation from IMS. Holes are distributed towards the center to direct the flow of espresso. There are more holes in the center and they have less disctance between them. This pattern is specifically designed for bottomless portafilters. The basket has flat bottom. Available in 4 heights with different capacities according to the type of coffee used. For 58-58.5mm tampers. Ridgeless. Border 70mm. The main characteristics we found out the BIG BANG filters emphasis was the SWEETNESS. The extraction is very uniform , it exalts the sweetness and reduces the acidity. We don’t suggest to use the BIG BANG filters with citric (light) coffees since they sweetened espresso and modify characteristics.

Bu sepettin akış tarzı diğer ims sepetlere göre daha başarılı. Kolaylıklı Nano ve compettion sepetlere oranla daha ince öğütüm yapabilirsiniz. Refraktometreyle ölçtüğünüzde çözünmenin daha iyi olduğunu görüyoruz. Fakat bununla beraber bu sepetin altında yan kısımlarda çok fazla boşluk var. Bu boşlukların oluşu oraya delik koymamasından kaynaklı akışı merkeze yönlendiriyor. Bunun bir olumsuzluğu var ki mutlaka kahve puckını sepete kenarlardan yapışıyor. The coffee taste great. I find with the beans I use I'm dosing this basket closer to 21g to fill the basket, at 20g my puck is soaking wet... I'm going to get a smaller version because I want a pound of beans to last longer and dose closer to 17-18g. Your milage may vary with the beans you use.
