**Q: Does this help with fructose and lactose intolerance please?**
A: Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCl provides support for normal breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and dairy.  It does contains lactase to break down lactose, however is not focused exclusively on lactose and therefore does not have as much targeted efficacy as lactase-only products. It also contains invertase which breaks down sugar into fructose and glucose.  Fructose is a monosaccharide, and thus cannot be broken down further with an enzyme.  Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCl is not  designed to be used in place of elimination diets for individuals who cannot tolerate these compounds.

**Q: What is the source of hcl? and does this product contain ascorbyl palimate? as many pure encapsulation products do.**
A: Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCl contains betaine HCl which is synthetically derived. It does not contain ascorbyl palmitate.
