My legs run a little short for my overall height, so I feel more confident with heels. But sometimes I want to be comfortable and wear flat boots like Timberlands, and these insoles solved my problem! I used the lowest setting, 1 inch, in my Timerberland boots, and now I have just that extra boost of height that makes me feel my legs are shapelier. Super comfy too. These were easy to trim with size markings on the product. They only went up to size 9, so they would be perfect for a woman, but not a man with larger feet. Also, the attachment piece doesn't stay locked tight, but falls out easily. Not a problem once they are secure in your shoes, but a little hard to maneuver when you are inserting since the booster piece keeps falling about. Doesn't matter to me, since I am only going to use these on the 1 inch, lowest setting. No bad chemical smell. Seller is super helpful & wanted to make sure I was happy. Will definitely be buying more. This is a fabulous product for shorter people to gain height & confidence! Review: Great as described. But pay attention. - I like the product quality and feel.
