Review: Great Heated Mattress Pad! - I spent a lot of time researching and comparing heated mattress pads. We've used this pad for about a month now and I really like it. Just a few notes about it. The plug in is at the end of the pad in the center and does not bother our feet. The pad is comfortable and we do not feel the wires within the pad. It was advertised to fit a 16" mattress which I believe to be true as I had extra fabric over a 14" mattress. The fit is secure. The controller works great! Very easy to read and use. I have been able to easily adjust the temperature to my personal preference. I have to say my favorite thing is that the light on the controller does not light up the room. I very much dislike those LED lights that light up the dark. It is a soft light, easy to read but does not glow bright when you turn off the lights. Technically, the appearance, thickness, plug in don't really matter because it is covered by a bottom sheet when you sleep on it. The size, ability to use and comfort is definitely as advertised. Review: Really Great Heated Mattress Pad - I've had a Sunbeam heated mattress pad for quite some years, it was great, several settings and was easy to wash. When I went to replace it I was concerned that I would not find one of the same quality but now that I've had it for a few months I can say this heated mattress pad is terrific and I like the features. Mine is the King size, comes with 2 controllers which you have to make sure you have correctly located as the wiring goes from the mattress pad to one controller and then the other and then to the outlet. My old one was different, the controllers plugged in one to each side of the mattress. To be clear, the plug is at the center of the foot of the mattress pad so it won't get in your way if you are tall. The pad was generous in depth so I got some mattress clips to help hold it in place and not bunch up under me. I advise you to do the same when you buy the mattress pad and save yourself from taking it off and putting it back on. The controllers have the power readout numerically, and a readout of the hours remaining until auto shut off which I think is a good feature. What I didn't like is that there is no plastic bracket or hood to hang the controller on the side board of the bed so you have to lay it someplace, I may get some velcro and attach it that way so I can pull it up to change it and it won't be in the way. There is a center On button that turns it on or off when pressed. What I wasn't wild about was the led light stays on when the power is on, yes a nice safety feature but if a little bit of light bothers you then you'll want to attach this or place it so the light is shielded. The pad itself is nice quality, you can't feel the small wires when you are laying on it at all. I haven't washed it yet but it appears well made, (sewn) and hopefully won't come apart. ## Features - USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN: Electric blanket with digital controller and LED backlit blue display for easy viewing at night - CUSTOMIZABLE WARMTH: 12 Heat settings allows you to select your ideal warmth heat level - SAFETY FIRST: 12-Hour selectable auto shut-off and overheat protection for added peace of mind - COZY MATERIAL: 100% cotton top, extra-soft and cozy hourglass quilted pattern for the ultimate comfort - WATER RESISTANT: Rest easy knowning the mattress pad is water resistant to protect against unwanted spills - KING SIZE: 76" x 80" ideal for layeringa and pre-heating sheets on chilly nights, stretches to fit mattresses with heights up to 18", available in Twin, Full, King - EASY CARE: Machine washable, and dryer safe, when ready to clean, detach controller - TRUSTED BRAND: Every mattress pad is designed with premium components that senses and adjust for continuous heat and safe operation, cETLus Certified, 5-year limited warranty - PERFECT GIFT: An ideal gift for yourself or family and friends to stay warm on chilly nights ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0088AHKJ8 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #27,783 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #20 in Electric Mattress Pads #34 in Mattress Pads | | Brand | Sunbeam | | Brand Name | Sunbeam | | Closure Type | Pull On | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 8,053 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Polyester | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00027045750257 | | Included Components | Digital Controller, LED Backlit Blue Display, Controller Cord | | Item Display Dimensions | 76 x 18 x 80 x 18 inches | | Item Firmness Description | Soft | | Item Type Name | Heated Mattress Pad | | Item Weight | 7.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Sunbeam | | Manufacturer Part Number | MSU6SKS-T000-11A00 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 year Manufacturer limited | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Name | Heated Mattress Pad | | Model Number | MSU6SKS-T000-11A00 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Adjustable | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Size | King | | Special Feature | Adjustable | | Thread Count | 250 | | UPC | 694501139354 694501118922 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sunbeam - **Color:** White - **Fabric Type:** Polyester - **Size:** King - **Special Feature:** Adjustable ## Images ![Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad - Water Resistant - King - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81XczsSB1dL.jpg) ![Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad - Water Resistant - King - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lLgRJdhSL.jpg) ![Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad - Water Resistant - King - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81o62erN+qL.jpg) ![Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad - Water Resistant - King - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VQmbYIGzL.jpg) ![Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad - Water Resistant - King - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71T1WGRS6vL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Heated Mattress Pad! *by B***Y on December 17, 2025* I spent a lot of time researching and comparing heated mattress pads.
