Review: Great design - These are exactly what they say they were, but I have a hard time using them and so did my boyfriend. We couldn’t get past the weird feeling of something stuck right there in your nose. I will say for the short amount of time that I was able to wear them they did collect a lot of dust and particles. The sample set was great and really gave us an idea of the sizes that we would need to order if we could get past the weird feeling. Their design great they fit great and you can breathe through them.

And yes, just like the photo it just goes up your nose and basically turns your nose into an instant filter. In fact it might be better than a face mask because it actually filters particles right at the opening. As opposed to a face mask, the air around the gaps of the mask still gets sucked in unfiltered and straight into your nose. The drawback is that these are so small that if you run into any heavy particles it will just clog it up and you'll end up breathing through your mouth. I see these as more of an emergency filter, small enough to keep in your pocket, bag, or purse. I put it on in my workshop where I do woodworking and it gets the wood dust that doesn't get sucked into my vacuums. So I know it works well. But now I'm paranoid at how much wood dust I actually have been breathing in. Overall very impressed with these.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Effective while they last

I am a welder in a mining truck fabrication and production facility. I bought these to prevent or at least reduce the amount of metal dust I was breathing in. Prior to using these I would spent 20-30 min each night when I got home blowing, picking, and flushing crazy amounts of black gunk from my nose. When I finally decided there had to be a product out there to deal with this problem I was super excited when I found these. Now before I go further I want to be clear that the filter did work as far as filtering the metal dust, but it didn’t really matter how well it worked when they also absorbed all the “liquid” in my nose with in a short amount of time. I was having to change to a new pair ever 20-30 min when working in the cold weather and when working in warm weather the would absorb any and all natural moisture in my nose drying out the inside of my nose. Even then I thought “these problems are still better than breathing in all this metal dust” , but it quickly became to expensive going through so many per shift and i decided to search out a better option. For a person using them to go for a walk durning pollen season or maybe with a less demanding job in a not so harsh environment they may work out better but for me and the 4 co workers that tried them out it was not what we hoped or needed. Also I don’t know where they come up with the nostril sizes but neither myself or any of the other 4 guys had luck with a good fit. We all had different nose and nostril shape but all experienced the either a little to big or a little to small.
