## Description

Product Description MITSUMOTO SAKARI - A brand that focuses only on making a good chef's knife MITSUMOTOSAKARI has always adhered to the ancient art of hand casting and insists on building each knife by hand. From hand-crafted to finished product, each expertly crafted kitchen knife takes 90 days. Each exquisite kitchen knife is a masterpiece of knife-making. While maintaining the traditional hand forging process, they combine high quality modern ingredients with cutting edge technology to provide professional chefs and home cooks with high quality cookware. MITSUMOTO SAKARI 8 inch Japanese professional knife Gyuto knife hand forged by hand The gyuto kitchen knife is suitable for most everyday kitchen tasks and, due to its hardness, is especially suitable for cutting hard vegetables such as carrots, pumpkin and broccoli. During the cutting process, the Japanese knife can follow the contours of the food and will also maintain the integrity of the food to ensure its flavour and nutritional value. When the chef's knife starts to cut the food, it gives the impression that the food flows smoothly over the blade. The tip of the Japanese gyuto knife is slightly upwards, which makes it easier to cut the food. Unique knife spine design The Gyuto professional knife has a unique line design with a slightly curved spine. This allows the HAP60 powder steel knife to have less surface area in contact with the food and more strength, making it more conducive to piercing and cutting. The unique design makes preparation easier and more enjoyable for the customer. High quality handle material The handle of these professional Japanese knives are made of Micarta, a high-tech composite material that is heat-resistant and lightweight. The lightweight handle allows the wrist to remain relaxed after long periods of knife use. The ergonomic handle design provides a firmer and more comfortable pivot point for the grip, enough to give you the flexibility you need for slicing and chopping vegetables, fruit, fish and other ingredients. Long-lasting sharp blade The kitchen steak knife is hand-forged from HAP40 powder steel, which is extremely hard, abrasion-resistant and tough, superior to other high-alloy cold work steels and suitable for all cutting tools. The cutting angle is 15° and the blade is 2 mm thick. The combination of craftsmanship and material gives the chef's knife a long-lasting sharpness without the need for frequent sharpening. As a result, this chef's knife makes your work in the kitchen easier and more efficient, and keeps food in the freshest condition after cutting. Presented in a sandalwood gift box A professional Japanese knife is not only useful in the kitchen, but also makes a great collector's item. A high quality gyuto knife is a great choice for the home cook or professional chef. Sandalwood gift box specially formulated for your friends and family for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Halloween, birthday and other holidays. 8 inch Kitchen Knives Gyuto Knife, Professional Hand Forged Kitchen Knives, Meat Knives Japaneses of HAP40 Powder Steel Package includes Kitchen gyuto knife * 1 Tool maintenance instructions * 1 Knife cleaning cloth * 1 Notes on the use of kitchen knives Do not cut bones or hard food. Review: Beautiful knife but so expensive! - This was £299.99 when I received it (currently £210.99 at time of writing). This is a beautiful knife, presented in a wooden nice box but at this price is almost too good to use!! There's a non-english review further down which is making out the knife is fake and it's not actually Damascus but I don't think that's the case and have no reason to doubt this is the real deal and is a very high quality, professional grade hand-made knife.
Review: (not) Forged in Fire ! - Update August 2024 - 5 months after receiving knife Unfortunately even after average use the knife isn't holding up to its' initial promise. 5mths in and the blade is holding its sharpness, but fragility showing. The nick in the blade in the pic is from cutting a butternut squash ! Also as you can see the blade edge is getting small tarnish and rust spots. These can be expected but the blade is cleaned and dried after every use. SO even the tiniest amount of moisture is causing this. Just not good enough for a knife pushing £100. Very disappointed. Original Review Recently getting into world of quality knives with a couple choice gifts of a Keemake and Findking knives for a milestone birthday. Finding there is a lot of snobbery in the market but hey ho, each to their own. So will try to make this objective as possible with respect to its actual use ! The knife is beautiful to look at. The Damascus pattern coming through nicely. The sandlewood handle feels soft to touch but allows a firm grip. The rivets are embedded perfectly into the handle and can't be felt. The tang is shaped enough to curve round your forefinger if holding the knife quite high up the handle. Doesn’t dig in when applying pressure. Blade is almost balanced at the tang. Slight forward weight on the blade side but nothing to off balance the knife. Out the box the blade is sharp ! Very easy to do paper cut without applying much force. Slicing is perfection. The blade slides back very easy on peppers, onions etc. The tomato test holds fine - slices through perfectly without squashing the fruit down. I've not used the blade enough to need sharpening. In its' current state it is also very good for preparing meat. No issues with trimming away sinew and connective tissue layers from red meat. Tip is sharp enough and enough control for fine trimming as you'd expect from boning knife. Whether this is worth it's current price is completely up to you. I am giving it 5-stars based on overall experience. Price for this type product can vary wildly. For 72 layer, hand forged Damascus it is certainly a work of art. For a proper steel core with layers on top it is certainly at the top end of finesse. Current price is around £220-300 depending on offer. At lower price point for a hand-forged, steel-cored, Damascus knife this is definitely one to keep eye on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LAMA ACCIAIO IN POLVERE E MANICO MICARTA
*by A***I on 19 June 2026*
