Extremely impressed for the price. Unfortunately the always on sound icon overlay is a dealbreaker for me and I will be returning it. Losing one star for the lack of battery in the remote.Received today but I cannot fully test the device because the remote it came with did not include the battery. It's not a standard battery (AA, AAA, etc) instead it's a circle battery and no where on the remote does it indicate the size of battery the device takes.Also I cannot figure out how to remove the sound icon when in single display mode.Edit: Looking through the questions it seems a battery should've been included but wasn't... Also according to the seller the sound icon (which is permanently overlayed) cannot be turned off even in single display mode. This definitely won't work for me since I'm using this in a home movie theater and can't have any eye sore when running movies. Will be returning the item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quad Box Amazingness *by N***R on December 9, 2018* I have a 150" projector in my basement and was obsessed with getting 4 different streams in place for football season. Spent hours researching online for solutions and didn't really like my options. Buy computer components with software package, buy expensive splitting equipment, etc. Those are high ticket items so I was a bit nervous buying this $99 splitter which supposedly does the same thing.The concept is simple 4 HDMI input plugs with 1 HDMI output plug to the TV and a remote to control them. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised getting this thing working. It has option to go quad-box (picture), 1 large screen to cycle through each input, and then a weird 1 large crop box, and 3 small boxes.Deciding on sound is simply a matter of hitting the sound button to cycle through each feed which shows through a music note. Some people complained that the music note stays up permanently but that was not my experience as mine goes away after a few seconds. I gave it a 5 star rating because it was significantly cheaper than other options on here but it does have a few drawbacks you should know about.1) Remote has limited range. Probably around 10 ft and needs a clean sight-line to change. Mine is in the open to help mitigate this.2) Picture quality is downgraded to 1080p. I couldn't find a 4K version and even at 1080p it seems to lose some sharpness quality vs. a straight plug into TV.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase for how I use it and the price. This allows me to live the dream of watching 4 football games at once on Sunday! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great. *by M***A on October 4, 2017* Works great. I'm able to watch 4 different inputs on one screen. for example computer in, cable TV, Blu-ray and x-box. You can also watch 2 inputs side by side, 3 inputs or just 1 main input. The only thing is that it doesn't adjust the aspect ratio. so a side by side can appear elongated. Another downside, is that it's powered not passive. In other words, when the power is off, the screen is off and when you turn it back on, you have to reset it to whatever setup you initially had. Also, the remote control is confusing and I just keep hitting buttons until I get what I want. To me this is minor. This would be great on game day, stream 1 game, Cable TV one game, Use an app on smart Blu-ray to add another and maybe another TV box for a 4th game.
