I had one issue after about a year of use where the head would move too easily and the phone would sag down. Realized the mount had small cracks around where the ball joint attaches. Submitted a warranty claim through iOttie's website and they promptly sent me a new one. Was able to take apart the old unit to see how it worked and realized just how much though went into designing this thing so it cooled properly.
