They've been pretty comfy this whole time with good padding around the ankle, The sole is still going strong, with just the usual wear. Nothing is wearing through on the sole or upper...and all the sewing and glued areas of the shoe remain in good condition. I could get another year out of these shoes easily. I will buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good Tai Chi shoes *by K***S on December 9, 2025* I bought these shoes for Tai Chi practice and they work very well. They have just the right grip vs. slip for tai chi and kung fu and are very flexible. They also have very good β€œground feel”. I have neuropathy in my feet, so the wide toe box helps greatly by not squeezing my overly sensative toes. There are two problems that keep me from giving them five stars. First, the tongue is hard to get to lay flat. It wants to wrinkle. Second, there is pretty much no heel support.
