## Description

The Hyper-Brite 1920 x 1200 7" 3G-SDI/HDMI Field Monitor from MustHD is designed for the professional cinematographer shooting in the field. The 7" IPS panel features LED backlight capable of 2200 cd/m² output. The brightness of the display enables viewing in sunlight without the need for a sun hood. The SDI and HDMI inputs can handle up to a 4K/60 Hz signal, and the loop-through output enables the use of external recording devices for maximum capture flexibility. It is constructed with aluminum, making it durable and fast-cooling.The monitor offers a focus assist function for easy focus adjustments, and a false color filter that aids in optimum exposure setting. The display also offers a marker function with marker types that can be set between auto, 16:10, 16:9, 15:9, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, and 4:3. When the marker and the marker type are both activated, a border line of the safety area will be displayed inside the marker. The included programmable, wired three-button remote allows you to set frequently used functions and access them with the push of a single button. A loop fastening strap allows the remote to be attached to a tripod or frame. 7" IPS panel with 1920 x 1200 native resolution and 2200 cd/m² brightness 3G-SDI, HDMI, and composite inputs Accepts up to 4K resolution via 3G-SDI/HDMI input/loop-through output Focus assist function for optimum focus adjustment Peaking has three color options: red, green, and blue False color for under/over luminance warning Histogram displays the distribution of brightness in an image as a graph of luminance Exposure (zebra) superimposes stripes over the on-screen image, indicating if an area is overexposed Pixel-to-pixel mode Audio level meters provide numerical indicators and headroom levels, generating accurate audio level displays to prevent errors during monitoring Single color: An assistant function to adjust camera color settings; uses red, green, blue, or mono pixels User-selectable aspect ratio (auto, 16:10, 16:9, 15:9, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, and 4:3) H/V mirror allows for horizontal/vertical image flipping Three-button programmable wired remote included Four 1/4"-20 thread mounting holes Speaker and headphone output Tally function

Review: Amazing build and image quality for the price - I’m really impressed with this. The brightness is jaw dropping and the picture quality is very good. Just be sure to disable Camera Mode if your DSLR doesn’t need it because the mode scales the image and introduces screen tearing. Otherwise sit back and enjoy a stunning camera monitor for a very reasonable price.
Review: Good as a bright reference monitor. But... - The monitor works fine for what I bought it for. I'm a Steadicam op and needed a cheap replacement for a monitor that died. I needed one I could use in the sunlight and this one has done the job. The construction seems solid enough and the resolution is great. My issues are that the screen flickers (which could be the SDI cable but I don't remember my old monitor doing it), and the buttons don't keep their settings when the monitor is turned off. For example, when I fly a RED, I crop in on the image so I'm just seeing the video and not the tools. When I turn the monitor off and back on, I have to zoom in again which takes pressing a button 3 times. Another weird thing is that I can't just flip the image. Flipping it vertically makes it a mirror image so I have to also flip it horizontally. Also, the monitor takes about 10 seconds to power on. Seems a little slow. My last gripe is only an issue because on my last monitor, the SDI connection wasn't secured to the body of the monitor, just soldered to the internal board with nothing to anchor it. As careful as I am with my gear, I had the connector come loose several times (again this is my previous monitor) and I would have to disassemble it and resolder the connection. This monitor is made the same way, so it makes me paranoid that it will also break eventually. For the price, it's a good reference monitor and they aren't kidding about the 2200 nits.
