There’s a front pocket that my Kindle fits in completely and in the main part of the bag I placed my kindle to help give a size reference. Inside there is a zipper compartment on one side and then a pocket with two additional smaller pockets on both ends that would fit a pen or lipgloss very easily. This would be the perfect size to fit the essentials. The mint julep is exactly as pictured.

I was initially worried that it would be smaller than expected or feel cheap; However, it is super high quality for what you pay and has plenty of room for all of my books, my stethoscope, my bp cuff, my MAC in it's case and I still have extra room. It is extremely well made and it is secure in ensuring that none of my items fall. I will say, the more you put in you cannot clasp the button and the bottom is soft unless you keep the cardboard insert in but overall I would recommend.

I absolutely love this bag! As writing this review I’m in the bath so can’t show but it’s really durable! I can fit a whole full binder, 3 water bottles a meat stick, snack bar, wallet phone and a whole pencil pouch full of pens and all that jazz. The only thing I would add is a magnetic close on the front pocket so it’s not open when walking around. It’s easy to use and it won’t like collapse on itself! The color is so pretty I got the beige! Super duper comfortable and very stylish!
