All ok to cook over open flame and gas stove. Read other reviews about pressure difference and difficulty opening lid (when flying, or changing altitude) and applied same solution of sliding small flexible piece of plastic up into thread (like a credit card) which released the pressure and could then undo with just hands. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for food or water *by M***M on 15 November 2019* Really light and waterproof and doesn't impart flavours.
