I wasn't disappointed. I have seen reviews saying that the loader is too hard and that it is too hard to strip. The loader has to be medium hard to retain the cartridges firmly. Last thing you want is 5 round falling out as you try to reload. Another associated complaint is that stripping the rounds into the cylinder requires more effort than a twist loader. Well, yeah. You are stripping the rounds out of the retaining pockets. Unless you have a problem with hand strength, this shouldn't be a problem. You will find shooting and reloading a .357 magnum really difficult if that's the case.
