**Q: Can I use this tung oil on something that has been stained that will have food on it?**
A: Hello, tung oil is a premium dry vegetable oil used primarily for finishing and protecting wood, food contact safe, water, oil and alcohol resistant.
But because tung oil for wood finishing works by penetrating wood surfaces, it must be used on unfinished or bare wood and surfaces where old finishes have been removed.
If you want to apply tung oil on something that has been stained, we recommend that you lightly sand the wood first to remove the old finish.

**Q: Good for a fishing knife handle?**
A: Hello, this food grade pure tung oil is perfectly suitable for your fish knife handle, warm tip: pure tung oil is only suitable for unfinished or have removed the old finish bare wood. If your fish knife handle is already processed, please try to polish its original old finish before using tung oil, which can achieve very good results.

**Q: Can this be used over furniture that has milk paint on it?**
A: Hello, tung oil must be used on unfinished bare wood and on furniture surfaces from which old finishes have been removed. If you want to use pure tung oil on furniture that has been painted with milk, we recommend that you first sand the surface of the furniture.
