So far, recharging has been easy and reliable. Overall, vest is lightweight and durable. I am visible at night because we are plagued by inattentive drivers. This is a must have item in today’s world of walking at night or at dusk. We even have drivers who come up on curbs or sidewalks. Speeding or on the phone, who knows. The fit is decent not at all restraining or tight. As far as brightness I would suggest this highly as higher end vests are just not bright enough. Blinking green or red appear to be the most visible.
