These shoes did everything everyone said they would!!They were great in the river and provided EXCELLENT traction through the rainforest where it was wet, muddy and slippery. Not one time did I experience slippery footing in any of these various terrains! They are also super comfy for walking on regular surfaces. My size is a women’s 9.5/10. I ordered a men’s size 8. Perfect fit. Get these shoes!! They are universal, light weight and easy to pack!! Note: I noticed the mesh was still damp the next morning. But I wore Ty them om a nature hike and there dried in no time flat!! I wear size 11 and after reading reviews, I bought dark gray in size 10.5. They came light gray which are still nice and fit slightly loose, but after one session, I had no issues on feet coming out. The back does not bite into my skin and they also gripped very well and the cushion seemed to lessen the impact. My legs aren’t injured.
