They are about 14" wide. Will the hooks fit over that width? Thank you** A: Not according to the product description. It says 5.51"-11.02" **Q: will this ladder work on second story deck rails which are only 2 inches wide** A: I would not trust it to work on a rail only 2 inches wide. However, if you know any young guys - 17-21 y/o - they will do almost anything on a dare! Have one of them try it out in a non-emergency scenario. If this young lad survives, then you know you are probably okay. But seriously, I'd have to have a trial run done, before I would depend on with my life (or someone else's.) Hope this helps. **Q: It states one-time use only, but in the same note states the product should be tested and practiced. But how if it's one-time use?** A: Dear customer, Thank you for interested in our product. This fire ladder is not on-time use only. This product can be used multiple times. You can put it away when you don't need it, in case you need it. Hope it helps. **Q: Where is this made?** A: I could time you I am not near it. om a busy trip. But in the description below the picture where the dimensions are usually said the manufacture name. or call customer service they tell you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Portable Fire Ladder 2 Story Emergency Escape Ladder 15 Ft with Wide Steps V Center Support - Kidde Fire Extinguisher for Home, 1-A:10-B:C, Dry Chemical Extinguisher, Red, Mounting Bracket Included, 2 Pack - Mart Cobra Fire Blanket 2-Pack – Emergency Fire Suppression for Home & Kitchen – 40"x40" Fireproof Fiberglass Safety Blankets – Heat Resistant & Easy to Use – Smothers Grease & Electrical Fires --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/548281706-portable-fire-ladder-2-story-emergency-escape-ladder-15-ft](https://www.desertcart.us/products/548281706-portable-fire-ladder-2-story-emergency-escape-ladder-15-ft) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
