## Questions & Answers

**Q: My daughter in law specifically avoids toys made in China or Asia.  Anyone know where this toy was produced?**
A: This product is made in China.

**Q: Can anyone tell me if these are BPA free?**
A: I've read on reviews/questions for other Learning Resources fake food products (we have a lot of them!) that they are BPA free- but are made from PVC.  We just try not to let our littles chew on these- they are pretty close size-wise to their real life counterpart and have such nice details so these are the food toys our bigger kids play with in their play kitchen and we have other toys for gnawing. :)

**Q: I know that the bowl of oatmeal is one-piece, but does it look like it would be easy to separate the oatmeal without breaking it or the bowl?**
A: No, it would not be easy to separate the oatmeal from the bowl. The oatmeal is completely sealed throughout. This kit is manufactured really well, and they are very thorough with the production of the foods. :)

**Q: Are the eggs rubbery or hard plastic?**
A: The eggs are a bendable rubber material, while the shell is a hard plastic that the bendable egg goes in.

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas to go with her kitchen set. I love the texture of the foods. They have a more rubbery feel than a plastic feel. They are much more sturdy than the typical plastic play foods. And they are quite realistic looking and just the size for small hands without being too small. The foods (with the exception of the grapefruit) are all foods that she loves and has at various times for her own breakfast so they were very familiar to her. She was so excited when she saw them and began playing with them and offering them to everyone to "eat". I bought the breakfast basket and the dinner basket. I had originally thought to get the lunch basket, too, but many of the foods in the lunch basket were the same as those in the breakfast basket or the dinner basket so decided I really only needed to get the two since she didn't need duplicates of so many of the foods.
