If you want the taste of Veuve Cliqot then this isn't quite that. I've had other faux sparkling wines which taste like carbonated apple juice or hard apple cider so I was skeptical. This is definitely better than most. Carbonation is pretty much on target. As for taste, it's dry like a brut with its use of pear juice and peach puree with a touch of spice on the back end. It does have sulfates which might turn off some people.
