I got them for a screaming deal on Amazon so I cannot fault them for the price - although if you purchase them through an Amazon reseller or anywhere else, you would be totally and absolutely ripped off. If you paid more than $15 for a dozen, then you definitely did not get your money's worth. The nibs on these do not last and replacement nibs are hard to come by and expensive (if you factor in shipping and how quickly these wear out). It's also difficult to find inexpensive refillable solution, although you can find a recipe that will suffice for dirt cheap and last forever since very little is needed.For the user above who mentioned they did not dissolve in the medium mentioned, the solution in these pens is not made to resolve wax, therefore they don't work with colored pencils. They do work great with watercolor pencils and other water-soluble mediums (chalks, water based inks, etc.). Just go easy as the nibs fray very quickly.I personally prefer the ZIG Blender with the Twin Tip Flexible Brushes. They are a much better quality product than the Dove pens. The nibs on the ZIGs are more flexible and they last longer without fraying, unlike the Doves. Unfortunately, I received the ZIG Blender pens from a friend who had used them and then put them in storage for years (attest to their longevity), so by the time I found out how great they were, they no longer make them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 15, 2009* I love this pen. I had been wanting for months, finally ordered it and was not disappointed. My favorite part of the pen is the ease in which you can change colors. All you do is finish with the first color, then "color" on a piece of scratch paper until it runs clear, then you just pick up the next color. I can't say enough about it. It was my solution to spending hundreds on copics and similar markers.
