I think there is information somewhere in the description that specifies the maximum height you can extend it to. **Q: Does this bike have coaster brIeaks where you pedal back to break? Butnit also has V breaks.** A: So does this specific bike have coaster brakes or no? Retrospect website says no coaster brakes for the Koda 2 but here on Amazon (same bike) it states that this DOES have coaster brakes. I want a bike with NO coaster brakes. **Q: Does the 20” bike come with a kickstand?** A: Yes it does **Q: Does this bike have a kick stand?** A: Well I should rephrase. We ordered the 20” and that has the kickstand. The smaller one we also ordered, I believe 14” and with training wheels, did not come with one. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost returned it - so happy I didn’t!! *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 July 2024* When I put this bike together, I was surprised and disappointed that I had paid for a new bike (20 inches) that was not actually much larger than our current bike (18 inches). So much so, that I decided I would return it and went back to trying to teach my daughter (7) on her current bike. When I couldn’t raise the handlebars on her current bike, we tried the Retrospec again, using the same method (taking pedals off and lowering seat, then raising seat and putting pedals on after she could coast and control the steering). It was amazing how much easier this bike was for her to ride and control. It may not look much bigger, but I think they designed it this way on purpose. She will still get a few years out of it, and I am thrilled with the quality and style, as well as ease of riding. We will absolutely upgrade to the 24 inch of this same bike when she’s ready. The brakes barely touch the wheel and the bike is heavier than average ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Have you prepared your child? *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 May 2025* I bought this bike for my 6 year old daughter knowing that it did not include training wheels and that she had never ridden a bike without training wheels. When she was much younger, she had a Disney themed big wheel tricycle, a retrospec balance bike, and then a Red Rider tricycle. The morning after I had assembled this for her, she dragged me outside way too early in the morning to try it out, so I showed her how to try to keep balance and how to catch herself in case she can't. Went back inside to do some chores and when I went back out half an hour later to check on her, she was riding two wheels down the street without training wheels by herself with no help. Well I attribute a fair amount of that to previous experience with other bicycles and balance bikes, I feel like this bike made it very easier for her to transition.
