However the ciip is pretty unobtrusive & tight to the body of the torch **Q: What size is the rechargeable battery?** A: 26650 which I think is equivalent to a C type. Batteries are included and theres an adapter where you can use 3 normal AAA batteries **Q: What is the plastic tube for?** A: The tube acts as a spacer when using the non-rechargeable 3 battery cradle. Hope this makes sense. **Q: How do you switch the small torch on and install batteries** A: It took me a little while to work it out too but the back of the torch does unscrew just above the pocket clip after a bit of fiddling.
