It will probably keep your curl in humidity but it does get kinda stiff. It's not a "soft" cream when it dries. **Q: Does it make your forehead look very oily after you have wore it for awhile?** A: Well, I use it to keep my hair UP and away from my face. I do have oily skin as well and short hair - about 2-1/2 to 3 inches long. It does make your hair stiff. I haven't noticed any oiliness on my forehead but again, I use this product to keep hair out of my face. **Q: Does this hair cream add much shine to your hair?** A: Not really. I use it primarily for height and volume because I have short hair (less than 2 inches in length) - because i have salt and pepper hair (part gray, part black) - I really don't see a shine.
