I purchased these when they were majorly on sale, and for that price, they were well worth it. For full price, I probably wouldn’t say it’s worth it for some people since it is so short-lived. Kids ages 1.5, 3, and 12 all enjoyed contributing to the plucking, but it didn’t hold any of their attention spans long enough to fully pluck the rainbow. For me, the adult, however, I loved doing it and found completing the task very satisfying. We spaced it out over the course of 3 days, which I’d recommend to get more out of the activity and prevent getting bored or frustrated with its repetitive nature. It was definitely a messy activity (plenty of fluff ended up all over the floor despite attempts to contain it in a box) but worth it and very easily vacuumed up. As a bonus, the bright, soft leftover fluff can be used as a messy sensory bin base!
