A: The actual cushion length is about 70 inches.  I'm 5'10" so I'm pretty comfortable.  Unless you don't mind your feet hanging off the end I'd say no.

A: It is a faux/poly leather-looking material that is not genuine leather, but it may include ground scraps of leather in its formulation.  It is not nearly as durable as cowhide or buffalo leather.
