Review: Worth every penny for a fussy eater. - My dog has been very poorly for the past few weeks with sever stomach problems and had stopped eating resulting in a trip to the vets to find out what was going on as we couldn’t pinpoint anything specific l. He was previously raw fed and had suddenly “gone off” his food so we made the decision to transfer him over to packaged dog food but, as he’s a very fussy boy and has allergies, we had to be careful what to give him. As it happens, the first one we tried didn’t work out but we didn’t realise he was unwell at the time. Having had treatment by the vet, he’s now in the mend and this dog food has been the staple food to help him get his appetite back. We tried him with the broth first and he reluctantly ate a bit as I was hand feeding him but as the medication started to work, he’s now happily eating these chicken jelly pouches without any fuss whereas previously I was literally having to place the food on his tongue. The packets are quite small but they’re the right size for my dog (a JRT) and he’s even eating the one with the vegetables in which I never would have believed if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. He’s having 2-3 pouches a day at the moment but once he gets back to being 100% he will have less as it will be mixed with some biscuits. The content of the pouches is really good quality. It looks like you’ve just cooked it and prepared a meal just for him. It’s not sloppy and it has a nice fresh smell which is half the battle won. It looks like it’s from your own home cooked dinner.
