Usually some of the noise comes from the bearings too if they are not well lubed. I’d say they are quiet. Not quiet enough to use in a library but I don’t think you’re supposed to skate in a library anyways. **Q: are these trick wheels?** A: I'm not sure what trick wheels are but these are just wheel designs from back in the 80's. They're old school type wheels that we used to skate on. Nothing about tricks stated or recommended for. I just have some old school decks and these ride very nice. Soft and great wheels.
