I usually swipe a coat on and take a clear Maybelline mascara and sorta hydrate it that way so it thins the formula out a bit, making it easier to spread. I really wish it wasn't this expensive, but seeing as this and a brow pencil are my ONLY makeup products, I will likely re purchase.
