To get the cap off my husband used channel locks to get it off and it worked beautifully. I am currently looking for a pump or tap to use on the laundry soap but haven't found one yet. But this is probably one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I use laundry soap so often I needed something to last me a bit longer and this fits the bill. I also like that it's good on my skin it doesn't irritate my skin and when it comes to really strong smells or dyes my skin will start to break out. Arm and hammer laundry soap has been my go to since I found out my skin reacts badly to dyes and also strong smells. I do like that this laundry soap also has no real smell to it. It smells clean is all I can think of. I could also use any of the arm and hammer laundry soaps and I don't break out from any of the products.
