My daughter is three, and I would say the main downside is that it is not that easy for her to turn it off and on. The flashlight can kind of move around in the firefly plush and the button often doesn’t line up with where it says it is on the plush. When she can find it, it requires her to use full force with both thumbs to press the button through the plush.
