I found out that if u close the cap and squeze, somehow the air gets out through some tiny space and creates like a vacuum insdie and keep the bottle in a weird shape. But for its money its worth it. If you will use ont he extrnal bottom frame, near the front wheel or ground.The plastic cover will help from mud and dust. as extra bottle on the trip is good.
