From the moment it came out of the packaging, it was clear that this is a really well-made toy. The fabric is lovely and soft, making it ideal for cuddles, and the stitching feels strong and durable, which is important for a toy that gets played with every day. The design is spot on and looks just like Upsy Daisy from In The Night Garden. The bright colours and friendly face are very appealing to young children, and it was instantly recognised and loved. The size is just right – big enough to feel special, but not too bulky for little arms to carry around. We chose the talking version, and the sounds are clear and familiar, which adds an extra level of excitement. Pressing the toy to hear Upsy Daisy’s phrases quickly became a favourite activity, and it’s lovely to see how comforting it is at bedtime too. It’s also held up really well so far, even after being taken everywhere and given lots of hugs.
