Insert 4 AA batteries into the tractor. 2. Insert 1 9V battery into the remote control handset. 3. Turn on the remote control handset. 4. Turn on the tractor by pressing the power button on the remote control handset. 5. Use the remote control handset to maneuver the tractor. Safety Warning Not suitable for children under 3 years. Got this for our son for Christmas; opened on Christmas day and easy to set up and use. There are intermittent pairing issues when the remote or tractor goes into power saving, no biggie. Turn them both off then on again. The issue is the thing does steer well. Sometimes it can turn to the left but broadly speaking this essential function is broken. My son is gutted and blaming himself for not working it right. I suggested it may be broken and we should send it back to santa and the response was why would santa send him broken toys, was he bad. Shame on Britains/Tomy. John Deere should license to another manufacturer. Update: desertcart sent a replacement (excellent support btw) and the replacement still has this issue...... my poor wee man has to put up with this junk

### ⭐ Disappointing for the Price – Not What We Expected

We bought this John Deere remote control tractor for our son and had high hopes given the brand and the price, but unfortunately, it’s been a letdown. The radio control function only works intermittently — sometimes it responds, other times it doesn’t at all. Even when it does work, the steering is incredibly limited. It barely turns, making it frustrating to use properly. For this sort of money, we expected something much more reliable and better built. It looks great, but the actual functionality just isn’t there. Really disappointing overall.
