Just mix an approximate share of both, keep the rest for later. The ratio is not critical. For just a beard, you would use about 10%. Don't leave it on too long, it works extremly well. **Q: It says ammonia free and in the description it says contains ammonia. i've reported this as it's totally misleading.** A: I agree, Had the same issue that I took up with a different seller. its very disconcerting. I cannot smell ammonia in the product, and decided to use it with success, so far. **Q: Thought all chem beard dyes have PPD, which often causes rashes, surprised this doesn't have it?** A: We do not see this ingredient in the formulation. Multiple applications. All failed *by T***S on 18 June 2023* I came from using Just for Men - first time. It worked quite well, and easy application. Amazon was out so I thought I'd try a different brand. Ordered this one. Followed instructions carefully. After skin test (no reaction), I applied and let sit 5 minutes. After washing, there was literally NO effect. I tried 10 minutes. Same result. Literally no effect. Tried a third and left on longer. Not even the slightest tint. Goes on thick and very dark like shoe polish. Rinses right out regardless of time left in.
