Review: Camera Doesn’t Work - Bought two of these for my kids for Xmas. The purple one won’t hold a charge and even when plugged in it’ll switch on, take a photo but won’t print anything. Bought in advance for Christmas so I can’t return. Not a cheap purchase so not impressed at all.
Review: Das Produkt beinhaltet neben der eigentlichen Kamera ein passendes USB-Ladekabel, eine bereits eingesetzte Mikro-SD-Karte, eine bereits eingesetzte Papierrolle sowie 2 Ersatzrollen, 5 kleine Buntstifte und eine Umhängeschlaufe mit. Ganz klar, auf die Buntstifte könnte man als Eltern von gut ausgestatteten Schul- und Kindergartenkindern vermutlich verzichten, sie haben wohl eher Signalcharakter, um daran erinnert zu werden, dass die Kamera die gemachten Bilder nur in Schwarz-weiß druckt, oder dienen als Abrundung des Gesamtpakets. So oder so: Das Gesamtpaket stimmt und enthält alles, was benötigt wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber, dass die Kamera sofort nach dem Auspacken einsatzfähig ist. Der Akku war bei uns voll geladen, die Druckerrolle bereits eingesetzt. Man musste lediglich die Kamera einmal kurz aufschieben, um das Papier in die entsprechende Führung zu legen, ähnlich wie bei einer Kassenrolle. Zum Öffnen der Kamera haben wir einmal kurz die mitgelieferte Anleitung befragt, die es zwar nicht in deutsch gibt, aber dank der Bilder vermutlich international verständlich ist. Wir haben es jedenfalls ohne irgendwelche Schwierigkeiten geschafft, die Kamera zu öffnen. Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach. Einschalten, Fotomodus auswählen, einmal auf „Ok“ drücken, um den Druckmodus zu aktivieren (die Kamera kann auch „normal“ fotografieren und die Bilder auf der SD-Karte abspeichern), abdrücken et voilà: Das aufgenommene Bild wird sofort ausgedruckt. Das Abreißen des Bilds von der Rolle ist für Erwachsene dank der eingebauten (versenkten) „Klinge“ am Ende problemlos, unsere 5- und 7-jährigen Kinder haben sich allerdings beim Abreißen schwer getan und es besteht die Gefahr, dass das Foto einreißt oder das Papier verkrümpelt. Hier sollten also besser Erwachsenenhände helfen. Die Qualität der ausgedruckten Bilder ist mittelmäßig. Die Bilder sind schon recht grizzelig, aber prinzipiell scharf, Konturen sind gut erkennbar und es ist schon eine ziemliche Gaudi, wenn man das eben gemachte Bild nur Sekunden später in den Händen hält – gerade für Kinder ist da die Qualität wahrscheinlich zweitrangig. Unsere Kinder haben jedenfalls eine Riesenfreude am eigentlichen Prinzip der Sofortbildkamera  abdrücken, ausdrucken, schieflachen. Man kann den Bildern auch unterschiedliche, lustige Rahmen hinzufügen, die dann ebenfalls mit gedruckt werden. Die Fotos sind sofort trocken, man kann also problemlos drauflangen ohne dass etwas abfärbt oder verschmiert. Das Ausmalen mit Buntstiften klappt auch gut, das Papier ist gut bemalbar und die Farben sind gut sichtbar. Wir haben bisher nur die Sofortbildfunktion genutzt, was die Kamera ja auch am meisten ausmacht. Es gibt aber auch den Video-Modus und es können auch kleine Spiele auf der Kamera gespielt werden, wie z.B. Kisten verrücken, Snake oder Tetris. Für zwischendurch wird dafür die Kamera von unserem Sohn auch gerne einmal genommen. Insgesamt ist die Kamera wirklich sehr bedienerfreundlich, liegt auch für Kinderhände trotz des etwas klobigeren Gehäuses noch gut in der Hand und macht dank der sofortigen Einsatzbereitschaft großen Spaß. Die Qualität der ausgedruckten Bilder ist für uns hierbei zweitrangig, so dass wir gerne alle 5 Sterne vergeben und diese Kamera für Kinder bestens weiter empfehlen können!
