I washed and dried both of these blankets "separately" "alone" when they got here and both of them turned out perfectly! I always add 2 cups of vinegar to a *super load* to the wash for anything that is new or badly soiled *regardless of the size* and they turn out smelling VERY fresh every time and it also sets the colors, keeps colors from bleeding, kills bacteria etc.. I have absolutely no complaints about either one of these blankets. I think the price is fair for what I received. I also dried each blanket on low heat, delicate for 10-15 minutes until dry and it made the blankets even softer, you'll see. They did NOT shrink nor look any different than before I washed and dried them. Like I said, it just made the blankets a whole lot softer.
