Not like on tge picture Review: Installed this drive into a Gen 5 slot on my motherboard and saw a 40% higher score than my Gen 4 drive. The included heat sink is big but didn't inhibit installation. It did a good job of keeping the drive "cool" under load. Gen5 drives run much hotter than Gen 4. At rest my drive was 54C and under stress it was 65C.
