This groomer/trimmer does not bring you down to hairless or completely-clean-shaven status. If you want hairless, this is not the groomer for you. It does a good job overall at grooming and zero chance of nicking or causing cuts, because it is not an ultra-close shave. While it works great in the shower, I found that the water tends to leave wet hair stuck to the skin where this shaver does not quite reach - I had better results outside of the shower. The wedge is great for reaching into cracks and crevices, where other groomers won't reach - and there is no chance of cuts in those areas, which is comforting.
