I ordered an XL to compare, but I'll still keep these. 3. The material is similar to a pair of good quality leggings, in that is not super thin, but does have that wicking, not cotton feel. I didn't typically like that favorite, but these are very comfy. I found myself petting my pants during the day because the fabric felt good. I ordered black, and the material does not appear to be see through at all. 4. They are fitted from the waist down to the thigh, and then start to flare out at the knee. I love the shape of them. I am average height (5'7") and they hit right where I prefer a pant to, which is almost the floor. Shorter ladies might have an issue with the length. 5. I am posting pics because I appreciate when other large ladies post pictures so I can see the fit on a big woman versus the model, but I would never wear these with my stomach showing, because I am very aware I am large and I'm not comfortable flaunting it.
