Review: Lovely stories - A lovely selection of stories which are a little bit different to the usual fairy tales. The book is a bit smaller than expected (A5 size) but it has a lovely padded cover and beautiful illustrations which catch the child's attention. The stories are short with a couple of lines on each page so ideal for reading to a small child and for the child to start reading themselves when they are old enough.

Except that the book is great. 10 stories - a good selection from around the world (India, Greece, Russia, England etc). My kids (5 and 6 year old) are loving it. Easy language, beautiful pictures and not too much text - just what you need for a bed time story. Recommended.

A lovely selection of stories which are a little bit different to the usual fairy tales. The book is a bit smaller than expected (A5 size) but it has a lovely padded cover and beautiful illustrations which catch the child's attention. The stories are short with a couple of lines on each page so ideal for reading to a small child and for the child to start reading themselves when they are old enough.
