There is then an overlapping flap that that acts as a closer.I filled it with a number of items and it ended up about an inch thick, and it still closed well.Hope I never have to find out how well it performs in a fire, but gives me peace of mind. ### ⭐ Unhappy and no manuals *by M***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 December 2018* I am not happy with the product because I end up with a fibre glass sting and itch. There was no instructions or caution of handling this kind of item. I have to vacuum my bed because I opened it there. As I read about it, I doubt it can be effective in protecting the items I wish to place because the more you move about the item the more it is likely broken.
